Now standard envelopes have been mostly printed with written format and what the sender needs to do is just, on according to prompts, writing the zip codes, addresses and names of the recipient and the sender with a proper stamp sticked .
1, On the top line is the address of the recipient with neat handwriting and specific information. The address is in the order from province, city, county and to block, street and the number. If the address is in rural areas, the name of the country or village should be added. Six blanks on the upper left are for the zip code.
2, On the middle of the second line is the name of the recipient. You can add "comrade/ Mr. /Ms. Receiving" after the name. It is improper to write titles like "Grandfather Receiving".
3, On the third line is the address and name of the sender and on the lower right, the zip code of the sender. In case of any emergency, the post office can send the envelope back to the sender based on the information.
4, On the right of the envelope, there is a bar-code printing area which is 55mm.-160mm. from the right margin and 20mm. from the bottom margin. It is prohibited to write any name or signature in this area for fear of affecting delivery.
The envelope should not be written in pencil nor in a red pen so as to avoid blurring and discourteousness.
If the letter is entrusted to someone, words like "delivery in person" or " kindness of sb " should be added on the envelop , with "...entrusted" on the back of the third line.
Requirements for Envelopes
It is not allowed to use old envelopes, waste paper or paper with words as the envelope.
The letters should be packed in standard envelopes and sealed well.
If it is an envelope with a transparent panel, the panel should be in form of rectangle, with the long side parallel with that of the envelope. The letters ought to be folded so as to move easily in the envelope, with the address and name of the recipient clearly showed through the transparent panel.
The transparent panel wouldn´t reflect light under the lamplight and the name and address can be clearly seen through the panel.
