　　The plainness of pottery and mellowness of porcelain symbolizes different attitudes towards coffee. 　

　　Pottery cups are simple and unadorned and suits coffee that is  dark roasted and rich in taste.  　

Porcelain cups are commonly seen and can precisely interpret the meticulousness and mellowness of the coffee.  While the bone china cups made by firing high quality porcelain clay and animal bones are light in texture, soft in color, high in density and good in heat preservation. In this kind of cup, the coffee cools more slowly. This kind of cup is excellent choice that can represent the flavor of coffee.  

Coffee cups have three sizes: demitasse（60ml~80ml）,suitable for the tasting of pure high quality coffee or heavy single-origin coffee. Although you can drink off at one draught, the brooding mellowness can best represent the delicacy of coffee; regular coffee cups（120ml~140ml）, commonly seen coffee cups, usually this kind of cups are selected because it has ample space and you can add milk and sugar by yourself.  

Cleaning

　As for the cleaning of coffee cups, since coffee cups of fine quality have tight cup noodles and very small pores, dirt can hardly stick to the cup, so after coffee drinking, rinse thoroughly with water and the cup will stay clean. Coffee cups that have been used for a long time or that are not washed immediately after being used may have dirt on the cup and just soak the cup in lemon juice and the dirt will be rinsed off. If the dirt can not be rinsed off thoroughly, use neutral dish washing liquid. Moisten the sponge with dish washing liquid, gently scrub the cup and finally wash the dirt down with clean water. When washing coffee cups, hard brushes, strongly acidic or alkaline detergent are not allowed since the surface of the cup may be damaged.
